TOURS &\nEXCURSIONS \u2013 TERMS AND CONDITIONS<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

1) Prices<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

i)<\/strong> Prices do not include fares to \/ from your\naccommodation to \/ from your pick-up \/ drop off point, drinks, snacks, optional\nentrance fees (unless specified in the tour details) and personal items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Bookings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

i)<\/strong> Advance booking only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ii)<\/strong> Payment must be made in full at time of booking<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iii)<\/strong> A booking is accepted as confirmed when payment\nfor each member of the party is made in full to Traveledex or its recognised\nand appointed Agents<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3)Tickets<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

i)<\/strong> You need a booking reference number to travel on Traveledex\ntours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ii)<\/strong> Where bookings are made by telephoning Traveledex,\ntickets will only be dispatched where requested as the booking reference will\nbe emailed<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iii)<\/strong> Where two or more persons are included on the\nsame ticket or booking reference, the person purchasing the ticket or issued\nwith a booking reference shall be deemed to do so on the basis that they act as\nan agent for both or all members of the party and accept these booking\nconditions on behalf of each member of the party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iv)<\/strong> Tickets are not transferable. They may only be\nused by the passenger for whom the ticket was bought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

v)<\/strong> Persons under 18 years old must be accompanied by\nan adult aged 18 years or over who is willing to take responsibility and have a\nlegal Duty of Care for supervision of the child throughout the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4) Cancellation of bookings and refunds<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

i)<\/strong> If you have to cancel your booking you must notify\nus immediately. In the event of cancellation more than 48 hours prior to due\ndeparture, an 18 percent (18%) handling charge (for administration) shall apply\nunless you reschedule your tour for another day, subject to availability and\nwith the agreement of Traveledex<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ii)<\/strong> Cancellation refunds cannot be made within 48\nhours of the departure date and time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iii)<\/strong> We shall not make refunds in any other\ncircumstances. In particular, no refund will be made after the scheduled date\nor time of departure. Missed departures shall <\/p>\n\n\n\n

be treated as cancellations. We cannot be responsible for\nfailure of public transport or traffic delays which may prevent you from taking\nthe tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iv)<\/strong> Notice of cancellation is deemed to have been\nreceived when it is acknowledged by us, and only in writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5)Responsibilities of the passenger<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

i)<\/strong> Passengers should aim to be at the pick-up point\nfor their tour at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time. We\ncannot guarantee that your seat will not be given to another passenger if you\narrive later than the scheduled departure time and no liability will be\naccepted in such circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ii)<\/strong> Passengers must allow plenty of time to return in\ntime to connect with any other form of transport. We do not accept\nresponsibility for any delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iii)<\/strong> Passengers must also look after their personal\neffects at all times whilst at the pick-up point, at the stops and on the transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iv)<\/strong> Stops are made during the tour for sightseeing\nand refreshment. You must return to the transport punctually within the time\nallowed for those stops. Your transport may have to leave without you if your\nreturn is overdue and we shall not be liable for the consequence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6)Personal luggage and effects<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

i)<\/strong> Passengers are permitted to carry on the transport\none small bag each<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ii)<\/strong> Passengers are responsible for their luggage and\npersonal items at all times whilst at the pick-up point, at the stops and on\nthe transport<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iii)<\/strong> We will not be liable for loss or damage to\nluggage or its contents or personal items resulting from carrying or leaving\nany luggage or personal effects on our transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7) Accident or Loss<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

i)<\/strong> We have no liability for loss, damage, delay,\ninconvenience, or direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to\nour employees\u2019 negligence, in which case our liability is limited to a maximum\nof the refund of the tour cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ii)<\/strong> We shall not be liable for any loss, consequential\nloss, inconvenience or delay arising out of the breakdown or failure of any\nvehicles or from circumstances beyond our control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8) Personal Insurance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

i)<\/strong> Personal insurance is not included. Passengers are\nadvised to arrange their own personal insurance cover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9) Nuisances<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

i)<\/strong> In the interests of all passengers, the following\nrules apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

a)<\/strong> Smoking \u2013 you are not permitted to smoke whilst on\nboard our transport, but all tours make frequent stops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

b)<\/strong> Alcoholic drinks \u2013 you are not allowed to take onto\nour transport any alcoholic drinks for the purpose of consuming them, nor to\ndrink such drinks on our transport or to remain on the vehicle when in the\nopinion of the driver you are under the influence of alcoholic drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

c)<\/strong> Drug and Solvent Abuse \u2013 you are not permitted to\nboard or remain on board our transport whilst under the influence of drugs and\n\/ or solvents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ii)<\/strong> Failure to comply with any of the above may\nresult in you being required to leave the transport in the interests of fellow\npassengers. Should this happen you will not be entitled to any refund or\ncompensation and we shall be under no further obligation or liability to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10) Changes to tours and excursions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

i)<\/strong> Every care will be exercised in the arrangement of\ntours. However, we will not be liable for unexpected and unforeseen\ncircumstances beyond our control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ii)<\/strong> Changes may be made to tours to respond to\nunexpected and unforeseen circumstances. Your driver has the right to exercise their\ndiscretion on the affect which these may have on the tour and take action\naccordingly<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iii)<\/strong> If we fail for whatever reason within our\ncontrol to complete a tour, we will provide suitable alternative transport, but\nour liability shall be limited to the cost of providing transport to the agreed\ndrop off points. We have no liability for any loss, damage, delay,\ninconvenience or direct or consequential loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iv)<\/strong> Each tour operates subject to there being sufficient\ndemand. We reserve the right to cancel or alter arrangements up until the\ndeparture time of the tour. In this event all monies paid will be refunded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

v)<\/strong> In the event that an advertised place of interest\nshall be closed every endeavour shall be made to substitute an alternative, but\nthe company reserves the right to cancel or alter arrangements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

vi)<\/strong> The published pick up and drop off times are\napproximate only. We do not undertake that tours will start or return at the\ntimes specified in our brochures and leaflets or on our website. We have no\nliability for any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or direct or consequential\nloss caused as a result of the late departure or return of a tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11) General conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

i)<\/strong> No servant or agent of ours can vary our\nconditions and any such purported variation shall be of no effect unless it has\nbeen signed by one of the Directors of Traveledex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ii)<\/strong> We may at our discretion require any person to\nwithdraw from any tour at any time if we deem their acts offensive or a\nnuisance to other passengers. Should this happen you will not be entitled to\nany refund or compensation and we shall be under no further obligation or liability\nto you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iii)<\/strong> Any complaint should, in the first instance be\ncommunicated the tour guide. Should the matter remain unresolved then\npassengers must report the matter to Traveledex without delay with confirmation\nin writing not later than 7 days from the return of the tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12) Business Name<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The terms and conditions apply to tours arranged by\nTraveledex which is the trading name of Travel Education Experiences Ltd, a\ncompany registered in England & Wales under Company No. 12193348<\/p>\n\n\n\n

13) Governing Law<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

i)<\/strong> These conditions shall be governed in all respects\nby English Law. Any passenger bringing an action against us submits to the\njurisdiction of the English Courts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
