CEO – Kevin Hunt BA (Hons) Pg Dip MSc MBCS CITP MInstLM

Kevin has had business careers in financial services and IT before changing to the teaching of international students at the start of 2010. He holds many professional qualifications as well as a BA (Hons), MSc (distinction) and CELTA. He is dedicated to providing a high quality and personal service to students and their families whether through teaching or offering educational and career advice. His teaching covers all main business subjects as well as business English and Academic Study Skills. He is a regular tutor for a major Russell Group university pre-sessional course during the summer months and is currently applying to be a PhD candidate. In addition to his teaching skills, Kevin is an accomplished tour guide to international students visiting the UK and excels at showing them some of the more unusual and lesser-known attractions that exist. He is also a Certified British Council Agent (GAL/19294).

Director of Finance – Barry Bull BSc (Hons) JP (ret)

After graduating from Sheffield University, Barry joined Unilever plc, and developed a long and distinguished career in business, and  has a wide range of experience drawn from working for international companies. This included appointments as a Chief Executive and a Director of large businesses in both the UK and overseas, in consumer goods, distribution, engineering and the public and charitable sectors.  Using this diverse experience, Barry now has over 10 years’ experience as a teacher and tutor at an international language college, specialising in all business subjects, and in economics, finance, politics, current affairs and sciences. With experience as a Magistrate, Barry also teaches law, and is a qualified teacher of English (CELTA), and is currently also an NHS Trust Governor.

In addition to business and teaching, Barry has particular interests in travel, culture, history, conservation and current affairs. While studying in the UK, Barry actively encourages students to widen their horizons and make their stay in the UK memorable and valuable.

Director of HR & Student Welfare – Brenda Cox

After studying occupational psychology in London, Brenda joined the medical electronics division of General Electric Company where she was responsible for management and young people development whilst studying for the Institute of Personnel and Development qualification. Her career continued developing becoming Director of Human Resources handling major structuring and integration. From here her career moved into consulting working on projects with BAe, Honeywell and 3m specialising in business strategy, employment law, manufacturing re-engineering and counselling.  Brenda completed the Diploma in Counselling whilst working in Bristol. 

Brenda moved into lecturing with Solent University, Southampton teaching a range of business and management subjects and successfully studied for the PG LT.  This has been followed by a rewarding career teaching Business and English to international students and also completing the CELTA.

In addition Brenda actively supports her daughter, and other young people in their competitive horse riding careers in dressage and eventing.
